Snapchat Planets are part of the Friend Solar System, a Snapchat+ feature that shows your position in a friend’s Best Friends list using planets. Instead of displaying your ranking as a simple number, Snapchat turns the eight Best Friends positions into a solar system. The closer your planet is to the Sun, the higher your…
Snapchat planets show your position in a friend’s Best Friends list based on activity on Snapchat. The feature, called Friend Solar System, uses planets to represent different positions among a person’s eight Best Friends. However, Snapchat planets are not a complete measure of friendship. They reflect your place in Snapchat’s ranking system, not how much…
Snapchat planets not working can happen when the Friend Solar System feature is disabled, your Snapchat+ subscription has expired, or the app has a temporary glitch. You can often fix this issue by checking your Snapchat+ settings, updating the app, clearing the cache, or restarting your phone. If the planets still do not appear, check…
Snapchat has not removed its Friend Solar System feature. As of October 2026, Snapchat still introduces Solar System as a Snapchat+ feature that lets you see your position in a friend’s Best Friends list. If your planets or Best Friends badge have disappeared, the feature may be turned off or unavailable because of an account…

If the planet is Saturn, you are their sixth-closest Best Friend based on how much you interact through Snaps and Chats. Saturn doesn’t automatically mean your friendship is weak. It simply shows where you currently rank among that person’s eight Best Friends….
The orange planet on Snapchat is associated with Jupiter in the Snapchat Solar System. Snapchat+ uses eight planets to represent different positions in a friend’s Best Friends list, with Mercury at number one and Neptune at number eight. The planet’s appearance helps you identify it, but color alone may not be enough to confirm its…
The Mars Snapchat Planet represents the fourth position in Snapchat’s Friend Solar System. If Mars appears when you check your friendship with someone, you currently rank as their fourth Best Friend based on Snapchat interactions. The Earth planet on Snapchat is part of the Friend Solar System feature available to Snapchat+ subscribers. It represents the third position in the planet order, following Mercury and Venus. The feature uses planets to show friendship rankings based on interactions such as Snaps and chats. If Earth appears on a friend’s profile, it generally…
The Snapchat Venus planet shows where a friend ranks in your Snapchat best friends list. It is part of the Friend Solar System feature available to Snapchat+ users.
